We were delighted to present our work at the UCL Institute of Education seminar series "Multilingualism and Diversity: Impact for Education, Health and Society." Our seminar, "Building Enriched Learning Environments for Bilingual Language and Literacy Development," introduced the aims and design of our home-based bilingual dialogic reading project and shared practical strategies for supporting bilingual children's language and literacy development.

The seminar explored how shared reading, translanguaging, and dialogic reading techniques can help families create engaging bilingual literacy experiences at home. We also presented preliminary findings from our intervention and discussed their implications for supporting both children's home language and English development.

The session attracted researchers, educators, and members of the public, generating valuable discussions on how research can inform educational practice and support bilingual families.
